If you like to go diving and have a little geologist inside you, this is the right beach. You probably didn't know, but Lavadores beach is an authentic open-air geological museum. All because of the variety of granitic rocks that exist there. HOW TO GET THERE: At Marginal de Gaia, just follow the arrows.

A long stretch of sand marked by imposing rocks rounded by the sea, Lavadores beach is famous for the iodine smell of the algae and crustaceans that live on the rocks. Small pools of salt water form between the rocks. The rocky beach of Lavadores, is the closest to the city of Gaia, Praia de Lavadores marks the beginning of a continuous sand that extends for many kilometers to the south.
