This quaint little pub is only 160yds, 3 min walk from Jackson Tor House, great views over Matlock on clear days. Doesn't serve main food.

A small friendly real ale pub in Matlock with a great view! Pie night every Wednesday is amazing value and the roast dinners on a Sunday are huge- just make sure you book in advance as it is very popular!

We must include this if you like pubs and in particular real ale. A consistent Good Beer Guide entry situated at the top of Matlock, this pub offers fantastic views and lovely meals when they are being served. A ten minute walk up hill from the flat! Closed on Mondays.
