An old Georgian home from the 1700s which was converted into a boutique-style shopping centre in more recent years. It has some of the best Irish designer boutiques. Pepper pot is good for lunch

The Powerscourt Centre's website describes it in a series of sentence fragments: "Fashion. Restaurants. Bars. Interiors. Jewellery. Beauty. Antiques. Arts & Crafts. Irish Design. History. Culture." This indoor shopping centre boasts a wide variety of boutique shops and a big indoor café, and it adjoins Pyg, a hip place to get some cocktails.
