If you are a fan of the mountains don't miss out from visiting Troodos Mountain. Here you can enjoy beautiful views, visit local villages and taste local food and delicacies. If you visit in the colder months you might even be able to ski.

A drive through the Paphos Forest and on to the Troodos is a must. Lots of little villages dotted around, also monasteries, a lovely fish restaurant at the height of the Troodos you can even catch your own trout! Amazing place. And plenty of walks.

Persephone Trail. Easy, level one, a total of 6 km linear trail in rich vegetation, tall pine trees and spectacular views from Makria Kontarka view point.

Troodos Mountain is a great place to cool off. On the way to the peak is Platres, which is a lovely location for lunch and has Sparti Rope Park. This is great fun for adults as there are various levels of difficulty. Kakopetria is an old quaint village worth visiting too. You can also find the Caledonia Waterfalls walk half way up Troodos, with its ice cold small melt water pool at the bottom.
