This is a tiny NYC oasis just a short walk from my flat. Not many people stop in, but the fountain and greenery make it a perfect place to bring your book and a coffee for an afternoon escape.
Nice green space nearby to grab some fresher on a bench. Time will pass as you watch the birds play in the fountain!

Greenwich Avenue originated as an Indian trail and was called the Strand Road by Dutch colonists. Forming the other two sides of the triangle, Eighth Avenue and Horatio Street date to 1811, when the New York legislature approved the Manhattan street grid, known as the Commissioner’s Plan.
