Muirfield (or "The Honourable Company") will blow you away. It has hosted The Open sixteen times, and is the best golfing experience in East Lothian - some would say the best in the UK ! Booking tends to open in April the year before you want to play, and tee times ALWAYS get booked up quickly - so you do need to make your plans well in advance.
