The observatory of Visnjan is the ideal location to have a look at the Istrian stary night sky. Open for public every Saturday between 8 PM and 10 PM from May to September (no reservation needed). The visit does not take place on rainy days and is mostly in Croatian.

Visnjan Observatory during the last 15 years became one of the world's most known places for discovery of small bodies in the Solar System. It also well known because of astronomer Korado Korlević.

Višnjan Observatory (Croatian: Zvjezdarnica Višnjan) is an astronomical observatory located near the village of Višnjan in Croatia. By mid-2003, the observatory was credited with 1748 discoveries.
