As its name indicates, the Cafebrería el Péndulo began as a combination of a cafeteria and a bookstore, located in the Condesa neighborhood, in 1993. From its original conception, other cultural and artistic manifestations were integrated, from an exquisite collection of records and art films, to cultural activities of all kinds, such as concerts, book presentations and literary courses.

Together with Gandhi, El Péndulo is the best chain of coffee/bookstores, or "Cafebrería" as they call themselves. They also offer concerts and performances. All of their branches have a unique atmosphere (if possible visit the beautiful Polanco branch).

Bookstore, cafeteria, and restaurant. Nice place to take a break, have a snack or a coffee. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as coffee. $$+
