It's a popular spot in summer; if jumping into the snow melt river water is too daring, it's a great place to "chill" and enjoy the scenery. It can get crowded on weekends and afternoons, best to plan your visit mid day during the week if crowds don't appeal to you.

Sweet local spot 10 min away for rock river jumping and fun in the water. Bring towels, a blanket, and a picnic basket.

Located right between Interstate 205 and the Willamette River, High Rocks and Cross Parks on the bank of Clackamas River are not only one of the most popular and heavily visited swimming holes in Portland but also one of the most notorious. Regardless, it is definitely the most visited destination in the quaint and sleepy town of Gladstone.
