The abbey that William's wife, Mathilde had built and where she is buried. It is fascinating if you enjoy history and you can see around the council buildings which adjoin it and walk through the lovely park with a panoramic view of the city

L'abbaye aux Dames est un beau monastère fondé au XIe siècle. L'église abbatiale et le parc valent le coup d'oeil. Visites libres et gratuites.
