If you find yourself in need of additional grocery items, Safeway is the most prevalent general grocery store in our area. We prefer the Safeway located in Diamond Heights because it is nicer & cleaner than the other nearby Safeways. NOTE: San Francisco Laws require stores to charge for grocery bags. You can avoid this charge by bring your own grocery bags.
