Just a short walk from Kookou cottage to this local viewpoint and nature reserve. Look out for the Marbled White butterflies if you're visiting in June.
Enjoy stunning views across the Lincolnshire Wolds at Red Hill nature reserve. About a 15 minute drive on the way to Louth, Red Hill is worth a stop off for fabulous views and photo-worthy wildlife (summer is the best time to see orchids and marbled white butterflies). Parts of the wildflower meadows are dog friendly, but it’s not much of a walk - more of a stop off. Don’t forget your picnic blanket!
