Please notice: In Sweden there is a state monopoly on selling alcohol. In local stores you will only find beer that is below 3,5%. So if you want wine or anything else stronger, this is the store. There are only 2 "systembolaget" on Öland; the other one is in Färjestaden (town by the bridge). They are closed on sundays and close early on saturdays. On weekdays they usually close at 6pm. Google "Systembolaget Borgholm" to check when the closest one is open.
