A traditional manor house with beatiful gardens and a very interesting collection of old furniture, jewellery, ceramics and sculpture. And a bar/restaurant with great views over the Funchal bay!

This place is mostly visited for its decorative arts museum which is worthwhile , but the gardens and the trees should not be missed specially for the dragoeiros
