This very indépendant and family-run business consists of Micah, the main farmer and chef and his lovely wife Rochelle. On their farm, just a scant 5ish miles from you dine, they raise all their own chickens, pigs, cows, and veg for use in the cafe. We bake their bread so it’s about as farm to table as it gets. It’s not just a gimmick. These guys are the real deal and the simple menu tastes as good as it sounds. Protip — Bring a frisbee or deck of cards to play with while you wait because there’s no cell service, panoramic views, and crushable craft beers & cider to enjoy which make the wait all the better.

Open Wednesday evenings from 5-8 and Saturdays from 10-2, Kuhars has wonderful sandwiches and hot food, frozen and fresh. A local baker provides excellent desserts. Local beers are served as well. Mostly organic food, and also excellent veggie and beef burgers.

This is a farm-to-table shop selling fresh produce in season, and fresh frozen vegetables and meats year around, as well as prepared meals to eat on site or to take away. Kuhar's also does catering for events of any size.
