Green Elephant, a chef-owned restaurant founded in 2007, provides a balance to Portsmouth’s dining scene. Its healthy offerings are inspired by the Asian culinary scene. Start with the vegan-friendly dumpling that consists of mixed vegetables along with soy sauce and spicy sauce. Add a bowl of coconut soup with tofu and mushrooms for some warmth. Many also love the Chinese broccoli with crispy breaded soy filet as well as Pad Thai for the entrées. It would be best to try the peanut curry for a complete Asian food experience.

Incredible vegetarian Asian bistro that even non-vegetarians will love. One of my favorite spots. They also have incredible cocktails.
