Potawatomi Falls is just upstream of Gorge Falls and is reached from the same parking area. Potawatomi is the name of one of the native tribes. This waterfall is wheelchair accessible. Gorge Falls is just a short walk away.

A short 20-minute drive north of town and a nice small family-friendly hike to a great set of waterfalls.

Beautiful hike through the trees to one of many scenic waterfalls lining the Black River in the Ottawa National Forest. These falls are about 1 mile south down the road (left out of the driveway). These are the only wheelchair accessible waterfalls on the Black River Scenic Byway.
