There are two "Porter's Thriftways" in Alpine. They are fairly similar. Go figure.

We highly recommend stopping by Porter's in Alpine, before making your way down highway 118 to Terlingua. You will get better prices and they have a great variety at this grocery store. It is also a great place to get some ice.
