Coming to this cave will give you much effort, but this temple is a fascinating destination for you who are searching for a cultural holiday in Nusa Penida. This is a sacred temple and an actual worshipping place for Balinese. However, you can still manage to come with some strict rules. If you are a woman who is having a menstruating period, you are prohibited to enter. It is because the cave is considered sacred and visitors should take care is purity. Littering is highly prohibited too. This temple is located on the northeastern part of the island. However, if you want to pay a visit, the trek into the cave is somehow bothersome. There is only a small triangle on the entrance where even adults are difficult to enter. Moreover, you have to climb down dark stairs and you have to stoop because the roof is pretty low. But, we guarantee you that this is a worth taking routes.
