The building houses the Heritage Center that has various interactive displays highlighting the rich history of the area

This community Centre was open in 2010, the building contains : Travel Manitoba Visitor Services, Lake Winnipeg Aquarium,Grand Marais Area Heritage Centre, RV Park with all the services needed
