This is a wonderful nice summit trip that is suitable for the whole family! You get up quickly in high mountain terrain and can enjoy the view about all the way to the top. Venelifjellet means "the beautiful mountain" and rightly bears the name. This is a very popular hiking destination in Vrådal and Telemark. The trip first goes over a bumpy bog and then follows a path on rocky ground to Venelitjørni. Here are swimming and fishing opportunities, picnic area with fire pit, rest cabin and outdoor toilet. From Venelitjørni, follow the path to the top of the mountain. From Venelifjellet you can in clear weather look out to the sea at Kragerø, the mountains on Hardangervidda and Gaustatoppen.

Flott turområde som der du på en relativt enkel og kort tur får flott utsikt over Vrådal. Fra parkeringsplassen på Bendiksmyr er det er ca. 2 km til toppen. Stopp gjerne ved gapahuken som er satt opp av Kviteseid turlag. Her er det også benker og bålpanne til fri benyttelse. For å forlenge turen, går det an å fortsette over toppen og videre ned mot Tjørnstøyl og rundt fjellet. Da får du en tur på ca. 7,2 km.
