Atlanta’s first skate park opened in 2011 in Old Fourth Ward with an appearance by legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk. Located alongside the Atlanta BeltLine corridor in the shadow of Freedom Parkway, the park offers world-class skateboard amenities as well as a playground and multi use athletic field. It has quickly become a hot gathering spot for skaters, athletes and families alike.

Great people watching. There’s a really nice park next to the skatepark that is perfect found a picnic blanket. Right on the Beltline, between Pure and Ponce City Market.

Tony Hawk designed (and donated) skate park with 4 bowls and a large track. Always fun to watch.

Great multi-purpose place: Art, skateboard, walk/eScooter the Beltline, picnic on the open green space (dog friendly, kid friendly). Has a small playground but around the block is the "Spray Pad and playground" at 800 Dallas Street for kids. Also restaurants in walking distance. Walk to Krog Street Market for a unique experience.

Fun for skaters and children who’d like to watch skaters. It also has a beautiful walking park and the best kid’s playground!
