First Bus offers a Royal Route to the castles (Stirling, Linlithgow and Edinburgh) every 15 minutes! At First Scotland East we are always looking to see how we can improve our bus services. We want more people to travel on our buses. That's why we have recently introduced The Royal Route, a route that visits historical and Royal locations. Starting its journey from Stirling, the home of many Kings and Queens to Edinburgh, our Royal Burgh while visiting Linlithgow Palace mid-route, the birth place of Mary Queen of Scots. This service is all about high quality and boasts new buses, a new look, leather seats, free wi-fi, a new frequency and new areas of service. Catch the bus to The Gyle centre on the 38A service from 0553 from Stirling or 0837 from Edinburgh.
