Mason County Museum is a tiny storefront on the square in Mason. It is a nice addition to a day on the square and inshows the local history of the area. The museum is home to the largest topaz found in North America.

Mason County historical items are housed in an 1870s schoolhouse, built of material from Fort Mason buildings. For hours, call Mason County Chamber of Commerce.
