Charming shopping village/plaza from the 1920s. Lots of cool stores to visit. There is always something happening here. Like a fiesta day with vendors. The landscaping and decor is worth visiting. La Arcada Courtyard is a charming Spanish style shopping Plaza on State Street between Figueroa St and Anapamu St in downtown Santa Barbara. The Plaza is decorated with colorful tiles and has several cast bronze statues and fountains. There are many small specialty shops, restaurants, and a wine shop. The main fountain has a number of large and small turtles in it. This is a great place to stroll, shop and have a leisurely meal or snack. When visiting Santa Barbara this is a must see.
