First of all, get the train to either Lime Street or Central station, they'll get you directly into the city centre in just a few stops. Once you get off the train you're pretty much following everyone into the city centre. A lot of travellers visiting the city make their way to Liverpool One that hosts many retail shops, restaurants, bars and even the Odeon cinema. Shop like a local and finish the day off in one of the restaurants for food and cocktails at Chavasse Park.
