This metro is on the yellow line and this is the metro you want if going to the local beach in Barcelona. You need to get off at Barceloneta which will bring you to the old fishing town. Here you can see all the yachts in the port and walk to the beach which is approx a 10-15 minute walk from Barceloneta station.

'Girona' is another metro station reasonably close to the flat and is also on L4 (yellow) line. However, Verdaguer station - which is on the same L4 line - is slightly closer to the flat, but it is a nice for a change to go to Girona and also next to Girona metro station there is lovely place for lunch or dinner, called Betlem.
