16 minutes by walk. This is the most famous bag shop in Kyoto and built in 220 years ago. It is made with sailcloth.

This company has been making its canvas bags for over 110 years and the store is often crammed with those in the know picking up a skillfully crafted Kyoto product. Originally designed as ‘tool’ bags for workers to carry sake bottles, milk and ice blocks, the current designs still reflect this idea. Choose from a range of styles and colours.

Canvas bag brand,super traditional company. The shop is only in Kyoto. A must to check it out. Highly recommended if you like traditional but simple products. small products such as pen case,apron are available,too.
