What does Airbnb do to encourage stays that are respectful of local communities?In our Help Centre, you’ll find our comprehensive Community Disturbance Policy. This includes the ban on parties, which is now codified in our Policy. Airbnb has also developed an overall set of clear and simple ground rules for guests. What protections and guarantees do I have as a Host and as a guest ?Every Host on Airbnb is covered by AirCover, top-to-bottom protection, which includes damage protection, liability insurance, and a 24-hour safety line. Guests are also protected by AirCover. It's included free with every booking and covers Host cancellations, listing inaccuracies, as well as a 24-hour Safety Line. As of 2023, Airbnb also reinforced our identity verification policy, making it a requirement for guests and primary Hosts.How can I take steps to support safety as a Host and guest?Safety is one of our top priorities. We ask that Hosts welcome guests responsibly by completing all safety and accessibility sections on their listing with helpful details about what to expect. For guests, we also have a list of useful tips to help you travel with confidence.
