Come and stay in a houseboat! We offer a private guesthouse with large dining / living room (including comfy bedsofa for 2) and separate toilet upstairs. Downstairs a queensize bed overlooking the water and bathroom with shower & large bath. A terrace in front with several seatings and a swing bench. Located in a beautiful green street very near the center: 2 stops by tram or 15 min walk from central station. We don't serve breakfast but provide many nice basics to prepare your own.

Java Islands is een Floating Tiny house gelegen aan een eiland in de Vinkeveense Plassen zeer dicht bij Amsterdam, Utrecht en Haarlem. Het is alleen bereikbaar per boot en je waant je er in een oase van rust midden in de natuur. Bootje te huur voor €30 per dag om zelf te kunnen komen en weg gaan naar het eiland. This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

A beautiful houseboat all to yourself! A beautiful location in the middle of the bulb region within cycling distance of the Keukenhof and the beach. Enjoy the freedom, the outdoors and the many birds and other nature scenes that take place around the houseboat. The houseboat was completely renovated and modernized inside and out in 2020. In 2023 the exterior will be (partly) equipped with another paint color. The ark is ready to offer guests a temporary home.
