Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Bohemian Farmhouse. Unique and full of character

Bohemian Farmhouse is not a standard holiday home. It feels like staying in a private museum, filled with art, objects and atmosphere. A place for people who value quiet, character and space (but still close to Amsterdam). The backhouse is what we offer for rent: this used to be the stables in the old days and is now a big, open space with an upstairs. Our house is ideal to visit Amsterdam from for a long weekend or holiday. It's located in the old centre of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, with shops and supermarket just down the road. Nice restaurants and terraces on the river are around the corner. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel has many nice cycling routes in the area. Amsterdam is reachable with public transport (30 minutes), bicycle (40 minutes) or by car (15 minutes).

Charming lodge in rural area, 5 km to Amsterdam

Looking for peace, space and nature in a rural area and yet close to Amsterdam? Then visit our lovely cottage. The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. It is next to the owners house, but offers a lot of privacy. The cottage has a nice terrace that overflows into the garden.
