Beautiful loft/studio - ideal for couples and long-term stays. The private light-filled loft (with a kingsized bed) is situated very close to the Weesperzijde, the stunning avenue along the river Amstel, lined with lovely cafes and restaurants, numerous houseboats and offering the city’s best sunset views. Light & Lofty Townhouse, in 'de Pijp'

I transformed this '19th century hay attic' on the second floor into a comfortable home (My 16 year old son and I live here). It is very light and spacious. The neighbourhood is filled with delis, bars and restaurants. Rijks, Stedelijk, van Gogh museum and the canals are around the corner. So are bike rentals, canal cruises, Paradiso and Concertgebouw. It is my home and studio (I am a designer), when I am travelling, I AirBnB it.
