Queenslander Stay in the Heart of Atherton Welcome to our classic Queenslander, centrally located and full of local charm. The home sits on a shared block with a granny flat at the rear; however, we respect guest privacy and rarely use shared areas during stays. A friendly dog lives at the rear property and occasional neighbourhood noise may be heard. Street parking is available. Many guests love the space, convenience, and relaxed local feel. Misty Hills Guesthouse Barrine

Misty Hills guesthouse is a tranquil, relaxing retreat, surrounded by nature with stunning views of Lake Tinaroo. It is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of the Atherton Tablelands. The guesthouse overlooks Lake Tinaroo and rolling hills. The sun rising over misty hills is a breathtaking view from the deck. A perfect, peaceful base to explore the wonders of the Tablelands, water sports, hiking, rainforests, waterfalls, lakes, bike tracks, local markets, restaurants, cafes and breweries.

Lakeside Loft

The Lakeside Loft is the ultimate relaxing getaway. It is a luxury pole home, nestled in the tree tops. It boasts three levels all with breath taking panoramic views of the Lake. The back yard has direct access to the lake for water sports for most of the year. We have a canoe and kayak for guest use. The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

Idriess Cottage

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. Breakfast supplies included.

Kulara Views Lake House

This home offers seclusion and privacy and is separated into two wings joined by the spacious deck which captures the waterside breezes and is the full length of the house. The layout of the house makes it ideal for a romantic get away or a group holiday. One wing consists of the main living area, kitchen and master bedroom with walk through robe and bathroom. The second has two spacious bedrooms, en-suite bathroom and separate toilet and a smaller bedroom with 1 queen bed.

Early Diggings Hut

Location equidistant to Yungaburra and Malanda. This renovated dairy is located on a working farm surrounded by national park. Close to Bartle Frere and Windin Falls walking trails. Featuring a well appointed modern 2 bedrooms (both with King Beds), bathroom, kitchen and laundry facilities with peaceful country views and passing cattle. Property has direct access to many deserted roads to old gold mines and deserted Towalla township, access can be arranged.

Central and Tidy 3 Bedroom house

The house has 3 bedrooms, each with Queen Size Beds, the bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry with washing machine. You will be provided with a remote for the electric gate for your convenience, and a large and secure fully fenced dog-friendly backyard. Take a short 10 minute walk into Woolworths and Atherton Town Centre, or a beautiful scenic drive through the wonderful Atherton Tablelands.

Experience hot springs, waterfalls and national parks within 5-30 min drive. With lower humidity, and at 2800ft above sea level we are approx. 6 degrees cooler than the coast.
