Charming home with hardwood floors, leaded glass windows, and original details in the faculty neighborhood close to UW-L campus and Downtown. Are you visiting La Crosse to paddle, fish, hike, bike, or ski? With bluff views, the Bicycle Professor's Bungalow is close to it all. My home is a ten minute walk to the marvelous Marsh Trail system that links the University to Downtown. I will happily offer tips for restaurants, walks, bicycle rides and places to ski. The Driftless terrain is endless!

We are six miles from the attractions of "Viroqua hip" yet nestled in the plain and slow of the Amish with roadside stands cascading produce and pie!

The Sweet Suite is an upper duplex unit. We are located in the middle of the Driftless Area known for its scenic beauty and charm. A comfortable country atmosphere ideal for relaxation. Stay next to beautiful Paint Creek in the heart of Iowa's Driftless Region. Guests can choose from a queen bed or double futon upstairs in the main living area. We also have a queen air mattress available. Enjoy the scenic view of one of Iowa's best trout streams from the house or adjacent green space. Take a 5 minute drive to Yellow River State Forest, and enjoy close access to other public hunting and fishing areas, Effigy Mounds, Pike's Peak, and the Mississippi River.
