The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Casale Pino nel Parco, mare e città d'arte

ll Troncolo e' un bellissimo casolare dall'architettura tipica degli edifici agricoli toscani, costruito verso la metà del 1800. Il casolare con il suo ampio giardino si trovano all'interno dello straordinario scenario del Parco Naturale privato di Migliarino, proprietà dal 1500  della famiglia Salviati. Il Casale tutto ben recintato, usato in passato come residenza del guardiacaccia, è stato ristrutturato nel 2007 rispettando la tradizione e conservando gli elementi architettonici originali.

Possibilità di ospitare 4 persone ( letto matrimoniale, 1 letto ad una piazza e mezza), con aggiunta di un lettino per bambini. Il quartiere, Santa Maria, è tra i più antichi di Pisa. Nelle vicinanze c'è il museo delle Sinopie, l' Orto e Museo Botanico , il Museo degli Strumenti per il Calcolo, Museo dell' opera del Duomo. Potrete visitare la città comodamente a piedi.

This lovely house is in the heart of Pisa. One minute walk from the river and 2 min from all the main shops. The train station and leaning tower are just a 15 minutes walk from here. You are just by the river, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. The house has both lift and stairs. There is a round bed and a big circular tub. All the photos you see are areas private to you, and you are the only one with access to it. Except the lounge area at entrance.
