There is space for one large vehicle or two compact cars if parked in tandem. If you are arriving with more than one vehicle, additional parking is available at the Schweitzer Fire Station/Roundabout on the way up the mountain—this is the only area on the mountain that permits overnight parking. Once parked at the home, it’s an easy walk to the village for restaurants and other amenities.

Welcome to our Cozy Cabin Retreat just 19 minutes north of Sandpoint. 4 acres of mature cedar trees and the crystal clear pack river. Perfect for couples or large groups, our property features an additional dry lodging cabin you can add to your booking based on your party’s needs. We don’t double book, so when you book, the whole property is yours to enjoy! The river is a great for swimming in July/August. Before this date, it’s too deep. Come enjoy this classic 1970's ski chalet located 1 and a half minutes from the base of Schweitzer. This home is newly updated. Once you get there you can hop on the shuttle and enjoy the scenic ride up the mountain. It is also 1 minute from the Bonner County fairgrounds. Enjoy hiking, skiing and lake activities in Sandpoint. We welcome families, ski teams, and referees to the Mountainview Chalet. It has a wheelchair accessible bathroom and bedroom.
