At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. Beautiful Whole Farmhouse in the Condamine Gorge near Killarney and Queen Mary Falls. Great place for families to be families without TV and WIFI. Lots of swings in trees, creeks, gentle cows in paddocks, outdoor and indoor fireplaces with spectacular views up and down the gorge. Located in the beautiful Scenic Rim under two hours drive from Brisbane. There is also currently no mobile reception (plus for some, negative for others!), but there is a free landline phone.
