The Sea Side Cottage~

The cottage is a private, peaceful oceanside getaway. Guests have the option of using kayaks and California Cruiser bikes. The accommodation provides accommodation to local adventure clubs; guests are invited to choose an activity (or two) during their stay. The cottage boasts gorgeous ocean views. Whales, otters, sea lions, and eagles can be seen depending on the time of year. DUring the cooler months the wood stove provides a gorgeous heat and seasoned dry firewood and kindling are provided.

Shawnigan Lakefront Guest Suite with Shared Dock

Our two bedroom guest suite is ideally suited for visitors looking for a summer lake experience. We have a private dock on Shawnigan Lake where you are free to enjoy swimming, splashing, fishing and boating. You will have exclusive use of a salt water hot tub to relax in. There’s a propane BBQ and dining table on the dock so you can dine al fresco and watch the sun setting over the mountains. Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun and enjoy lazy days on the dock

Walking distance to nearby Sea Star Vineyards and Winery and amazing bluff hikes overlooking Saturna and other Gulf Islands, this cottage is the perfect getaway for couples or as a writer's or artist's retreat. We are LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming. The cottage is an open concept building with a queen bed. The smell and sounds of the forest will bring calm, relaxation, and peace.

Guests have the benefit of a large deck and private drive off a peaceful residential road within short walking distance (0.5km) of the lake and a short drive from Ganges town centre, Fernwood Beach with pier & cafe and Mount Erskine Provincial Park.
