This temple is also called as Tsuglakhang Temple. Dalai Lama visits this temple twice or thrice every year to preach and bless. Thus, the temple gets its name as Dalai Lama Temple. If you are lucky enough to visit the temple during his visit, you can listen to his preaching. Very close to the residence of Dalai Lama, this temple stands as an important pilgrimage spot. This temple is famous for providing religious teachings. The most important feature of this temple is the morning ritual. This is a very peaceful temple to visit for sightseeing and meditation. Once you enter the temple, you can find a few lamas in the way. BEST TIME TO VISIT : The best time to visit the city is from September to June. The winter starts in October and ends in March. The temperature will be very low making the place look like a winter fairy tale spot. Summer is pleasant, vegetation will be lush and it is the best time to visit the place if you are looking for a retreat spot.

Also popularly known as Bhagsunath Temple, it is highly revered by the local Gorkha and Hindu community. The grand temple is also surrounded by major tourist attractions, such as the Dal Lake and the Kotwali Bazaar. In fact, the Bhagsunath Temple is situated on the way to the famous Bhagsu Waterfalls, and thus tourists make it a point to stop by at the temple and seek the blessings of the Almighty before they proceed further on their journey. The Bhagsunath Temple is located at a distance of just 2 kilometres from the Mcleodganj Bus Stand, from where you can either walk down to the temple or hire a cab to take you there. The temple is also easily accessible from all other parts of Dharamshala and Mcleodganj by a taxi.

The church was built in 1852, to provide a place of worship for the British soldiers posted here, and the church is full of memorial stones of those who passed away here. The church is open from 7 am to 6 pm on all days. Services are held on Sunday mornings.
