Although with the excellent bushwalking tracks, waterfalls and freshwater swimming so close to the house, you might not want to leave the valley.

Quite secluded location with elevated 180 degree views. Caravonica is a central location to a number of attractions around the Cairns area. You can walk to Lake Placid or Skyrail and only a short drive to Kuranda Rail at Freshwater. You can drive to Kuranda or Cairns City in twenty minutes.
