You can sit on one of the many outdoor decks and enjoy the scenic river. Or pack your bags for the beach to swim and fish, there are 2 beaches to chose from within walking distance. Whispering Pines: rivertown getaway

Skiing and snowmobiling just minutes away! This home is located very close to the River (although not visible through the trees) on a dead-end road in the rural countryside a few miles South of Prescott. There is enough seclusion that, even in winter, when the trees have dropped their leaves, it is difficult to see any neighboring houses. The town of Prescott is only a six-minute drive away (please note posted speed limits, which are often overlooked, but strictly enforced).

Plus, it's VERY close to the Red Wing Golf Course, Historic Downtown and the West End District. This is the lower unit ONLY.

*The Beach House* A One Bedroom House Boat

This floating SHACK on the Mississippi River will calm your spirit. Our quaint house boat is a great way to enjoy the Mississippi River while being safely docked in a beautiful Harbor on Tenton Island. The total foot of living is 9x28 space is Equipt with a Kitchen, Bedroom with a Full size bed, and toilet. Shower facilities are available as part of the marina but are NOT part of the boat.

Trout Haus Near the Rush River

This cottage once a barn for our 1906 era farm has been repurposed into a stunning 700 square foot two bedroom cottage. Less than a 1/8 mile from the Rush River, a class 1 trout stream, (we do have a private path down to the river) 1/2 mile from Vino In The Valley, a very popular sesonal restaurant, private patio, fire ring and gas grill. We also have 40 acres of wooded hiking trails.
