A magical stroll through the woods leads to the suspension bridge. You won't believe you're only minutes from town. Wear appropriate shoes as it is a short 2-minute hike to the tree house. At times, it can get a little slick.

An oceanview outdoor shower, fully decked hot tub, fire pit, lush gardens, & stocked surf shack w/ arcade enrich the wild coast experience.

Sandy’s first and only Tiny House! Located just one mile from Hwy 26, this unique tiny home sits on 23 acres, offering a peaceful, private setting with easy access to Mt. Hood adventures. The tiny house has its own space and stunning Mt. Hood views, with our main home visible but not impacting your privacy. Designed around a custom moving window wall system, it opens fully to the outdoors, bringing the mountain right into your stay for unforgettable sunrises, sunsets, and true Mt. Hood magic.

McKenzie Bridge River House near Sahalie Falls

Drive down a long private road, set off of the HWY, to find a riverfront cabin amidst the lush Willamette National Forest. As you wind through the driveway you will find a sanctuary for relaxation, recreation, and comfort. A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Our surf style cabin may be small, but the large windows with views of the bay, ocean and coastal forests allow for lots of light to flood the space. Just a short walk to the beach, shops and near some of Northern Oregon’s best surf breaks. Enjoy foggy mornings in the hot tub, adventure during the day and spend sunsets by the fire pit or on our large deck. Prepare to be blown away by the astounding sunrises , sunsets and awesome moonrises you will enjoy at the Pointe of Blessing. We feel our canyon perch is a gift from God too good to keep to ourselves. Our cozy home sits atop an outcropping of rock which juts out from the canyon rim affording us unobstructed views up and down the length of the Crooked River Canyon. We overlook several holes of the Crooked River Ranch golf course and Smith Rock is visible in the distance to the South.

The Hideout | A Modern Tiny Cabin Near Mt. Hood

The Woodlands Hideout is a small intentional semi-offgrid retreat space, featured on Dwell. It was designed and built by Further Society and created to allow guests to immerse in the beauty of the natural world, but still offer some cozy and more essential comforts. Although the footprint of the space is small, we designed the experience to be outward focussed, so it feels very expansive with the towering pine trees in view.
