Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Sister Bay Getaway

Enjoy a relaxing, family friendly stay on the shores of Lake Owen. Our family owned resort is situated on the southern end of the lake, just four miles from Cable. Lake Owen boasts crystal clear waters and is listed as healthiest of Wisconsin’s 15,000 lakes. The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest surrounds most of the lake, limiting shoreline development and offering the finest fishing and recreational entertainment.

Charming Cabin on Beautiful Lake Owen

Lake Owen is known for crystal-clear water and stretches 9 miles long in Southern Bayfield County. The cabin has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a TV and internet is available. The cabin is about 2 feet from the lake and the view off the porch is one of my favorite anywhere on the lake. Get ready for Beautiful Sunsets.
