The Secret Orchard is a self-contained apartment. Matt (your host) lives above. Built around 1685 it has many historic features. It has been home to three famous artists from 1848 to 1920. It sits within a large walled garden which has an orchard, cute hens, two ponds, a large trampoline and a sun-trap patio. Two minutes from the Fife Coastal Path and beach and a large park to cycle around. Dysart Harbour featured on Outlander and is very historic.

There are many good and varied restaurants and cafes in Dunfermline, three miles away, however if you want to "eat in", the kitchen is equipped with all you need to make a simple meal. Please note that there is no oven and the electric hob is a single hob.
