The Wee Hoosie

The Wee Hoosie offers you comfortable and cozy accommodation on a self-catering basis. The studio has a corner kitchen equipped with a full size cooker and fridge. There is an en-suite showerroom. The sun rises to the front and sets to the back, making this a light and bright space and with the wee garden with a patio to the rear you can enjoy a tiny home from home. There is private parking which affords more privacy. The studio is located in the garden of our home, we are on hand if required.

Beautiful granny flat with sea views, terrace, well-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom for up to 4 people. Unfortunately not suitable for dogs and small children. A further 3 rooms located in the main house can be additionally booked on Airbnb, also to provide a second bathroom. Please let me know via Airbnb Messenger who will be arriving and when so I can prepare the rooms. The sofa bed is a “small double” (1.20 m wide) and only suitable for one person, skinny couples or 2 children.

Entire Flat- Closest to the Three Distillery Path

Bright, Airy and Cosy for a relaxing stay. Tarsgeir is an UPPER FLAT in a block of 4 ( 2 up - 2 down). Being located in Port Ellen gives you a fantastic starting point for most sightseeing to be done on Islay, whether by car, foot, bus or bike there is plenty to do and see. Just minutes to Ferry terminal, shops, restaurants, pubs and bus stops. The 'three distillery path' starts opposite 20 mtrs away, a nice walk not just for distilleries, also for wildlife, views and the Islay fresh air.

Pier House

Pier House is beautifully located with stunning views. A huge lounge with Juliette balcony. The house is presented over 2 floors with the living room on the upper floor to maximise the exceptional vista. The house has all modern facilities and comes well equipped and presented. There are 4 bedrooms, a main bathroom, a separate wc and the master bedroom is complete with its own en-suite and shower. The property is on the edge of the beach and next to the pier, utterly perfectly located.

Gartartan Port Ellen Modern home with sea views

Gartartan provides stylish and contemporary accommodation with stunning sea views towards Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen (within 1 km) and beyond to Kintyre. Distilleries nearby. Gartartan is spacious with efficient underfloor heating and insulation. The open-plan living area has an abundance of light, wooden flooring throughout and a modern wood-burning stove. With four double bedrooms and three bathrooms Gartartan can accommodate six adults comfortably. Enclosed garden/ parking.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Coull Farm Cottage - Stunning Beach Views

Coull Farm self catering holiday cottage is situated on the farm itself. The farm is in a rural location on the west coast of Islay overlooking sea, five minutes walk from the world famous golden sands of Machir Bay. The hills, sea and moorland surrounding the farm are filled with wildlife and flora. Apart from the farm animals, you are likely to see seals, otters, hares and deer as well as over 80 species of bird including golden eagles. 9 Local Islay Distilleries.

Lower Garden Flat

This lower flat has a combined kitchen and lounge. The kitchen includes a microwave, toaster and kettle. There is access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. They are in the wooden shed nearest the flats. TV is provided. Extra blankets are provided for bedrooms. There is drawer and wardrobe space. The flat is heated by storage heaters. All bed linen and towels are provided. An outdoor seating area is provided and there is off road parking. Wifi is provided.

Port Ellen Pod, Isle of Islay, UK

Port Ellen Pod is a modern, well equipped, two bedroomed self catering cabin situated next to our home Swallows Roost.We are located approximately 3 miles from the village of Port Ellen on a quiet hillside with panoramic views overlooking Kilnaughton Bay, Port Ellen and Carraig Fhada Lighthouse. PLEASE NOTE: As we are located 3 miles from Port Ellen a car or some form of transport is recommended. Please ensure you book your car on the ferry in advance.

Daisy cabin with wood fired hot tub & wood burner

Daisy cabin is a comfortable yet modern one bedroom log cabin nestled into the woods. Daisy features a small bathroom, kitchen, lounge area and bedroom alongside an outdoor wraparound deck complete with gate for keeping dog in or mine out . Hot tub area where you can relax under the stars. The outdoor space also has bbq and dining area. Turn left or right at bottom ofdrive & you will arrive at beach , or just take in Bird life in the valley .

Starchmill Holiday Pod (Bowmore)

The Bowmore Pod sleeps up to 4 people, consisting of one bedroom with double bed, a toilet/shower room and a living area with double sofa bed and bunk beds. It also has a kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and table with 4 chairs. The pod is accessed through large patio doors which are perfect for enjoying the panoramic view. There is a large decking area in front with a picnic bench to enjoy dining al fresco.

3 Smiths Yard, Bowmore

Ideally situated on the edge of the village of Bowmore at the Centre of the island. The property is situated a few minutes’ walk from the “Main Street”, where you will find Bowmore Distillery, the MacTaggart Leisure Centre, Restaurants, shops, hotels, and public transport links to other areas of the island.
