Stylish Guesthouse in Historic Building near Audubon Park

The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

Lodge has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The Lodge is elevated 23 feet with great views of the surrounding waterways. The mid-level is a covered 1200 sq.ft. deck. A full service ice machine, propane barbecue, boiling/frying station and fish cleaning station are located on this level. A freight elevator services both levels. The Lodge is only accessible by boat. Hopedale Marina is full service and app. 10 minutes by boat. Pip's back down is $10 dollars on lock box and app. 3 blocks away.

Circa 1840 brick building, The Balcony Suite with private bathroom was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures.. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM.
