Timberwood Tiny Home is a place to rest your head & heart in Efland, North Carolina. The peaceful retreat is down a country road approximately 10-minutes from downtown Hillsborough. The 200 square foot tiny home is on a private corner of 8-acres shared with our main house. It features Scandinavian-style details, two beds, a spacious porch, abundant natural light, a wood-fired hot tub, barrel sauna, cold plunge, and more. There are features of the home that may make it unsuitable for children.

Historic cabin close to Duke U - with EV Charger

This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

Book this incredible tiny house for the perfect romantic getaway in the heart of Chapel Hill! It sits in a private forest full of wildlife but is only a 5-minute walk to Franklin Street and the UNC campus. Enjoy amazing views from the floor-to-ceiling windows of foxes and deer playing on the lawn. Lounge on the wall-to-wall hammock as you gaze at the trees through the skylights. Unwind with a movie in bed played on our massive projector. There's nothing like this anywhere in the Triangle!

A 600 s.f. cottage retreat designed by Robert Phillips. One bedroom, full bath and kitchen, and spacious living room. Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Enjoy wine and coffee on the front porch or visit the local downtown coffee shops and restaurants. Our space is best suited for adults.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in mid-century style with modern convenience. Our midcentury modernized all-steel home, manufactured by the Lustron Corporation in the 1940s, is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood near Duke University and Hospital, the NC School of Science and Math, and Ninth St shops and restaurants. Our house retains all its original built-in steel cabinetry and features period-appropriate furniture handcrafted by the owner.
