Escape to this cozy cabin nestled among the trees on a classic driftless hillside. Our newly-renovated cabin comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Warm your feet by the real wood stove and roast marshmallows next to the fire pit (wood included!), hike the 200 foot elevation gain on the property, and watch the sunrise through the valley from our new, 4-person hot tub. You'll truly understand the Danish concept of "hygge" after a few nights snuggled up under the stars in this secluded cabin.

Suite 2 - Lincoln's Lodge

New construction for the summer of 2025. This cozy retreat is full of all the amenities you will need for your stay. The main room features a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and reclining sofa with smart TV. The bathroom includes a corner shower and washer/dryer. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft with ladder access has one full, one short double and one twin floor mattresses perfect for kids or able-bodied adults. After a fun day in The Driftless Area, come relax and unwind in Prairie du Chien. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home with a spacious kitchen, large island, dishwasher, washer/dryer & 5' walk in shower. We supply all cooking/baking items/utensils. High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

Seated in the heart of the Kickapoo valley, there's no shortage of class 1 trout streams near by, public hunting easements, UTV trails, hiking, canoeing and easy access to all of the wonderful amenities the area offers.

The Kirkwood Cottage

Situated on a quite dead-end street, this charming home was built in 1920. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 car garage offers tons of character throughout. Located minutes from downtown Dubuque,local eateries, walking/cycling trails,Loras College,Clarke University and University of Dubuque. Additionally, the wooded backyard gives the outdoor space a peaceful and serene setting, while still being in the middle of town and close to amenities. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Cheerful 1-bedroom cabin

Take it easy, relax and enjoy all that this beautiful area has to offer. Great bird and nature watching opportunities from our cabin and the decks! Our cabin has been newly renovated and is the perfect spot to explore the area. It is best suited for 1 or 2 people - 4 guests maximum (2 adults and 2 children, or 4 adults). The bedroom has 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the same room with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. A queen sofa sleeper is located in the living room.

The Famous Field of Dreams is just 40 minutes away, Sundown Mountain is 20 minutes away.

The cottage offers miles of private walking trails on 100 private acres along the renowned Big Green trout stream. Our small highland cow herd roams the pastures, making it feel like you truly are in the Scottish Highlands.
