Eastburn: Gorgeous 2-bed cottage near St Andrews

Eastburn Cottage was created from our lovingly converted 200 year old cartshed. On 13 acres of grounds accessed via a 400 metre track, Braeside Farm is tranquil yet a 10-15 minute drive to St Andrews and less than an hour from Edinburgh Airport. Eastburn is a 2 bedroom cottage (the one on the right) with a kitchen and living room upstairs and a master bedroom (en suite) and smaller bedroom (with a triple bunk bed), bathroom and WC downstairs. Front door is at the top of the steps in the gable.

Corner Cottage is situated in the heart of Falkland, Fife. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature such as Maspie Den, Lomond Hills and the historical Falkland Estate. Visit local cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and of course, Falkland Palace, to enjoy the local atmosphere. A truly romantic experience! Couples who deserve a cottage break can't look past this! The Little Dundrennan Cottage is in the heart of the stunning Falkland. A beautiful garden full of beautiful flowers and colourful plants will delight you from March till October. The cottage was a stable in the 17th and 18th centuries and now is a pleasant and charming place to stay. Enjoy a king size bed, cozy conservatory, blackout curtains, kitchen amenities , SMART tv, Netflix, wifi and other facilities.

The Studio at Old Lathrisk

The Studio at Old Lathrisk (FI 00782 F) is a ground floor apartment in a 16th century Scottish country house near Falkland (where the series #Outlander is filmed!). It's a beautiful, stylish, cosy holiday space for 2 with an ensuite shower room and self catering cooking facilities. A perfect romantic hideaway with doorstep parking, a private entrance and access to the family's large beautiful garden. The countryside apartment is set in mature parkland with a beech lined driveway to the house.

The Haven is a warm, cosy, quirky, very small hut set in a beautiful garden. It is perfect for a single traveller but does sleep two people and includes a welcome basket. If you are looking for a simple, outdoorsy place to stay where you can self-cater in the outdoor kitchen, bbq or walk into the village for a pub meal, the Haven is for you! It is easily accessible for those with or without their own transport, with regular bus services to Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee. A perfect getaway!

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.

‘ Burgher Chapel- Converted Church’

Newburgh, Fife is an historical town. In the 18th century linen was woven in weaving sheds and cottages which still reflects in its architecture today. The town is sandwiched between the river Tay and a hillside providing ample walks and other sport activities. Many visitors start on the ‘ Fife Coastal Walk’ from this location. The chapel has excellent wifi. The town is self sufficient with shops, post office, chemist, doctors, dentist, garage, gallery and its very own distillery!
