Small social house by lake, only 30 min. from Oslo

This small social house is situated on the brink of Østmarka national park. You probably will not meet the shy wolf and lynx, but you might see deer og moose. I live here, but sleep in my workshop next door when I have guests. When you are visiting, we share the kitchen and the bathroom, and the big garden. The house is furnished with norwegian design, second hand and hand made book shelves. Book a forest bathing walk if you want 2-3 hours of relaxation. I am a certified forest bathing guide.

If you want a different holiday/weekend, this is the place. The place is located in the forest but easily accessible, close to water and 30 minutes from Oslo (Sørmarka). Enjoy the day with good walks in beautiful forest terrain, a pleasant evening by the fireplace, a wood-fired sauna or maybe just only enjoy the peace of the forest. The place is close to the Ski Association's trail network where you will find exciting and attractive "view points" within a 30 minute walk.

Kort vei til butikker og naturen rundt huset 😊 Det er mulighet og reie opp til en i stuen på ekstra madrass. Det er et spisestuebord man kan slå opp. Vi har 2 kaniner og 2 katter på gården.

Egen grusbane med nett som er egnet til tennis, fotball, volleyball etc. Diverse sportsutstyr og leker tilgjengelig. 45 minutter å kjøre fra Oslo sentralstasjon. 1 time 10 min å kjøre fra Oslo lufthavn.

This is a traditional Norwegian cabin from the 1950’s. Coming here, you’ll probably have less comfort than at home. No running water, no electricity. And you’ll need to walk approx. 1,5 km on hiking tracks to get here. On the other hand, when you arrive, you’re idyllically situated in the forest just next to a lake. It’s a perfect place for relaxation. Evenings in candle light and heat from the fire place.
